Archivo en Pixel

“Archivo en Pixel” is a fanzine that gathers the photographic traces stored on Andrea’s phone throughout 2019. Images captured, sent, forwarded, cropped, enlarged, and downloaded — the only copies she still keeps, all in low resolution. From this ephemeral digital archive, the author shapes a visual narrative that reconstructs her experiences of that year through a process of self-discovery and a revaluation of the poor image. A gesture that grants validity to the pixelated, reclaiming it as part of the photographic language. A blurred memory, like these images: fragmented and out of focus.
